At the WHAT? Sftbll organization annual media kickoff luncheon on Saturday, much of the attention predictably centered around two positions – 5-Man Infield and On Base Percentage. For now, general manager Rusty Shackleford said the squad is focusing on "outdoor practice scrimmages."

Into the late hours of the evening an agreement was final concluded and accepted with the Board of Directors to participate in the upcoming Waukegan Park District Summer League.

Negotiation began with veteran OF Jason Sanchez to "tender" a contract for the upcoming season. Sanchez is under club control.

At the annual press conference, the organization announces that after several negotiation attempts with rookie utility player Collin Glassman would be released from any obligation on playing this season. Though the coach also stated that this was not the end with Mr. Glassman, and a second round of negotiations is possible.

On Tuesday night, Bally Muck Club and WHAT? Sftbll scored a combine runs total (100), with a 135 combine base hits; 12 HR’s were blasted by WHAT? Sftbll.. For all the firepower in the lineup were led by, Jake Munson and Connor Fitzgerald both hit 3, and HR by Brad Callahan all in Gm 1.. Drake Larriuz hit 3 HRs of his own, in Gm 2 - 4 HRs for the evening.. Ryan Siembal also belted a HR.

WHAT? Sftbll scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning for a come from behind victory against the PF-Flyers Club to a final score of 21-20.. Infielder Tre Cruz belted a 2-out base hit with a single through the right side of the field. The victory clinches a 3rd place final on League Night play.
