At the WHAT? Softball Organization annual media kickoff luncheon on Saturday, It was ask how often does a low-budget organization like the WHAT? can repeatedly contend? The answer is simple. Youth ! Perhaps more than any team, WHAT? Men’s Softball management has discovered that quality arms don't necessarily have to come at a premium price.

April 7th, 2016
The organization announced that Shortstop Danny Morales could not fully participate in the upcoming season due to Work conflicts but would remain on the 30-Man roster.

April 9th, 2016
At the WHAT? Softball Organization annual media kickoff luncheon on Saturday, much of the attention predictably centered around two positions – First Base and Left Center. For now, general manager Rusty Shackleford said the Squad is focusing on "internal candidates for both spots."

An agreement is signed and accepted with the Board of Directors to switch Tuesday Nights from Waukegan to Mundelein in Lake County IL.

The Organization decided to play in the Waukegan Spring Tune-Up Tournament on May 7th.

The organization announced that Second baseman Evan Berliner could not participate in the upcoming season due to School and Work conflict but would remain on the 30-Man roster.

The WHAT? Men’s Softball Organization announced that Outfielder Joe Yonke would be temporarily out of the line-up for the entire season due to a recurring injury that took place from last season.

May 4th, 2016
The organization announced that First baseman Ryan Dolan could not participate in the upcoming season due to work conflict but would remain on the 30-Man roster.

May 5th, 2016
Thursday Night Libertyville Squad opens up the season with a victory against Tommy’s Pub to a score of 28 - 1. Outfielder Brad Callahan goes 4 for 4 with a HR on 5 RBI’s and 3 Runs.

WHAT? Softball Club finishes with a 1 and 2 record during the Waukegan Spring Tune-Up Tournament.

WHAT? Men’s Softball Squad enters play on Tuesday Nights in Mundelein for the first time in club history. Losing to a score of 21 - 19 against BBQ Productions Club.

Infielder Aaron Archibald makes his Pitching debut against Austin’s softball club at Libertyville Thursday Night, game 1. Pitching 3 innings giving up 1 run on 5 base hits.

Organization Announced that Pitcher Kyle Schrader was going on the disabled list for the remaining part of the season with a left Shoulder injury with an incident that took place during an off the field event.

Also on this Date: Outfielder Dylan Cartwright and Short Stop Matt Boley both belted their first career HR’s, with Boley being a inside the park Grand Slam.

Organization announced that Rookie Outfielder Brad Callahan and Third baseman Ryan Siembal both won the Players of the Month Award. Callahan batting .593 with Siembal batting .600 and was second in every offensive category for the Month of June. Tied with Adam Tagli with 16 games played. And was also consistent on the defensive side as well.

Breaking News: The WHAT? Softball franchise has played there 1000 summer league ball game. When the squad defeated the Yardwork softball club in Mundelein on Tuesday night to a score of 18 to 6, game 1.
Highlighted: Adam Tagli 4 hit performance that included 2 doubles, Triple and 4 RBI’s / 4 Runs. Ralph Lozano was the winning pitcher along with his HR and 5 RBI’s / 2 Runs. Ralph also delivered the game winning base hit with a single in the bottom of the 5th inning.

Organization announced that Rookie Outfielder Tommy Dubicki and Adam Tagli both won the Players of the Month Award. Dubicki batting .532 with Tagli batting .691 and led the squad in Doubles, Triples and Batting average. With 2 game balls for the Month, Adam also played Second Base, Pitch in 2 games along with playing in the outfield position.

Organization announced that Infielders Cal Haley and Nolan Sordyl had decided to return to WHAT? Men’s Softball Club after a 3 year layoff. An agreement was signed and accepted with the Board of Directors. Their return was motivated by their desire to play competitive softball with the team they once enjoy.

August 31st, 2016
Organization announced that Rookie Third Baseman Mike Nielsen and Aaron Archibald both won the Players of the Month Award. Nielsen batting .750 and led the younger squad in Batting Average, Reach on Base, Runs Scored and Base Hits, Runs Batted In. Mike also belted his first walk off home run during GM 1, in Mundelein Tuesday Playoffs. With Archibald batting .615 and led his squad in Batting Average, On Base Percentage .667, Reach on Base with 28, tie for first with Base Hits 24. Aaron also was the starting Pitcher in 3 games along with playing in multi position.
