At the Rebels' Organization annual media kickoff, Announced that Ross Jensen is leaving his position as the Rebels Third Basemen, but will remain with the organization on the 30-Man roster.

March 9, 2008
The Rebels signed free agent veteran Dennis Wuorenna to a One-Year Deal.

March 10, 2008
The Board of Directors decided to pull out of the both the Tuesday Night Municipal League and the Thursday Night Central League.

March 15, 2008
Meeting in closed-door sessions, an agreement is being work out for the Rebels to participate on Monday Night American League.

March 18, 2008
Negotiation begins with Veteran infielder Brad Graham with the Rebels Men’s Softball Organization.

March 22, 2008
An agreement is signed and accepted with the Board of Directors to play on Monday Night American League.

April 24, 2008
The Rebels organization announced that negotiation with outfielder Matt Dulaney had broken off with no hope for any extension.

The Rebels' Organization decline to play in the Waukegan Spring Tune-Up Tournament on May 5th.

Infielder Jonathan Schumacher avoided arbitration by coming to terms on a three-year contract. Jerry Van Dyke and Brad Graham, however, appear headed toward hearings.

Team drafts infielders (Phil Sims) with the 1st pick in the 1st round, and (Saul Molina) with the 3rd pick of the 4th round, outfielder (Carlos Carrillo) with the 6th pick of the 7th round, outfielder (Josh Grey) 19th round 2nd pick.

The Rebels Men’s Softball Organization announced the 2008 Regular-Season schedule would open on Monday May 12th with a Two-Game series against the Extreme softball club at Belvidere South Park.

Rebels Men’s Softball Team clinch First Place on Monday Night American League, by defeating Spittin Game Softball Club (15 – 0 ).

With tension at an all-time high, The Rebels’ Men’s Softball organization announced (2007 Rookie of the Year) Outfielder Andrew Stein would not be participating in the remaining part of the 2008 season. The attention predictably centered around two positions – Right Field and Catcher. For now, general manager Rick Garza said the Rebels are focusing on "internal candidates for both spots."

At his press conference, Coach Vasquez announces that after a Two-Year career, Outfielder Andrew Stein was being release from his contract, with no Club or Player option being tender. The Coach had also acknowledged that it had been Andrew that broke off all lines of communications.

The number (3 seeded) Rebel Men’s Softball opens the playoffs with a first round Win against Service Master softball club scoring 6 Runs in the last two innings by a score of 7-6.

The Rebels lose Game Two of the Playoff’s to the Yellow Jacket’s Softball Club by a score of 15-7.

August 7, 2008
The Rebels Won Game Three of the Playoff’s by defeating the LandScaper's Softball Club by a score of 11-1. The Rebels lose Game Four of the Playoff’s to the Diaz Family Softball Club by a score of 24-8.

The number (6 seeded) Rebel Men’s Softball opens the Fall Playoffs with a first round win against Uncle Mike’s softball. The Rebels lose Game Two of the Fall Playoff’s to the Clover’s Bar Softball Club.

The Rebels Won Game Three of the Fall Playoff’s by defeating the American Laser Mark Club, Won Game Four by defeating the Uncle Mike’s softball again. The Rebels lose Game Five to the Clover’s Bar Softball Club.

October 29, 2008
The Rebel’s opened up a few spots on their main roster on Saturday, as they outrighted infielder Juan Santana, infielder Ryan George, James Huitt and outfielder R.J. Lauraitis and John Tomlanovich to Triple-A ball.

A foregone conclusion became reality Saturday morning, when The Rebels’ Men’s Softball organization announced they declined to offer arbitration to free agent outfielder Carlos Carrillo. The decision was made by 11 p.m. CT on Friday night, but in keeping with past Rebels policy, the news was not announced until the following day.
