Statistically Speaking:

Fairly safe bet to reach, Noah Roth has an above-average hit tool; fluid, balanced stroke even on power swings; he stays short to the ball for long-armed hitter; needs to show he has the ability/willingness to take pitches. Loose, effortless, quick bat-speed with level path; barrel in the hitting zone a long time. At times Noah Roth can show little attention to make quick in-game adjustments. Showed consistent issue ID'ing slow short/fading away pitches—both can be corrected with repetition.

Upside Potential:

Solid overall prospect; no one tool wows, but as a collection they compliment one another; 4th outfielder type for me; corner outfielder who can spell the centerfielder when needed or in a short stretch if injury; see a .625 type with 20-ish home runs, doubles, and some bases on balls; profile slides to a top infielder without projected cleanup of swing consistency. Noah Roth should reach upper levels quickly; complimentary player on a contending team.

They Said It:

"Ceiling of multiple-time all-star; championship-caliber regular at third base; 20/20 upside, quality defender at premium infield-diamond position. Well-balanced toolset that can impact the game in a lot of ways; still growing into some power." -- Jack Glasscock – WHAT? Scouting director
