Statistically Speaking:

Kyle Whitmer had arguably the best statistical season of any prospect, taking age and league context into consideration. His tools are above average, and there's no real weakness in his game, and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Strong enough to muscle the ball on his hands, Whitmer should be good for 15-20 extra base-hits a year while playing any of three infield spots.

Upside Potential:

He is fine at third base, and he has at least plus power and should grow into more. Excited to see how he adjusts to the higher levels, where he will still be on the young side.

They Said It:

"There’s impact upside here accompanied w/ a good bit of hit tool variance, but Whitmer realistically projects as a an above-average middle of the order run producer.” -- Ron Tuggnut – Director of Softball Analytics
