Statistically Speaking:
No one questions Junior’s raw pop and he’s tapped into it at times on big stages over the past two summers. He has incredibly strong arms and bat speed, along with leverage and loft, to generate that power from the right side of the plate, but he tinkered with his setup at times and there was some concern with the uptick in swing and pop up’s to his game.
Upside Potential:
Creekmore Jr. can influence the outcome of games when he's standing in the batter's box. His well average speed gives him the potential and makes him a quality defender in right field.
They Said It:
A scout willing to be aggressive could grade each of Junior's tools as well above average, and his instincts are nearly as impressive as his physical ability. He has worked hard at gaining plate discipline, understanding and knowledge of the strike zone. Junior possesses the natural ability to hit a softball and hit it for distance.” -- John Redcorn – Director of Athletics
