Scouting Report

Hitting

Evan Bierman is a tremendous athlete who is a perfectionist regarding his swing. A team player and a natural leader, Bierman has the ability to wait on pitches that travel deep into his hitting zone before committing. He consistently puts the barrel on the ball thanks to excellent hand-eye coordination. Bierman likes to use the entire field and is more than willing to take what the pitcher gives him. He adjusts well to pitching patterns and game situations, which allows him to be productive even when behind in the count. Overall, one will walk away extremely impressed with Bierman power potential and the type of contact he makes. The ball tends to jump off his bat. On fly balls, it seems his ball carries a little further than everybody else’s. He has excellent hand-eye coordination that allows him to consistently square up on pitches.

Base-Running & Defense

Evan Bierman natural speed is consistent with his peers and he makes the most of it in every way. With good reads and all-out hustle, Bierman is an alert and aggressive base runner who will take an extra base if the opposing defense is sleeping. Few players in the game are more underrated from a national standpoint than Third basemen Evan Bierman. He ranks among the league leaders in numerous defensively categories on an annual basis, and rarely is mentioned when the topic is centered on the game’s premier performers. Bierman is an extremely powerful infielder with cannon like arm. He’s light on his feet, and possesses terrific footwork. Evan Bierman is now considered to be the standard by which all other infielders are measured. He is among the best young player currently in the leagues. He can also play the Short stop if need be, and with his quickness and agility translate into superior athlete.
