When Dallas Rixie is able to remain healthy for a reasonable stretch of time, he still displays good bat speed and the ability hit any stuff. He can spray extra-base hits to all fields. He also demonstrates his long-standing ability to hit deep and high pitches. However, those effective stretches are few and far between. Rixie seems to lack the endurance to remain in a groove for extended periods, trying to compensate with a bigger swing or looping his swing to generate more power.

Base-Running & Defense

A polished base runner with above average speed and even better base running instincts, Dallas Rixie is a solid runner who knows how to pick his spots to run. He shows good judgment in taking the extra base and he likely will get bolder when he learns the opponents outfielders. He is known for his running and hitting, which makes his defensive contributions underrated. Dallas Rixie is a plus defender at short stop, attacks grounders with reckless abandon and possesses a strong, accurate throwing arm.
