Playing at age 19, Haley hit a respectable .618 with a .655 on-base percentage and 1.273 slugging percentage in his first full season in 2012. Five years later, he jumped to .673/.698/1.198 to finish second in the Organization in slugging and in average in 2017.
Upside Potential:
Outstanding defensive catcher who will hit for high average and power while driving in plenty of runs in the middle to the top of a big-league lineup.
They Said It:
"Cal Haley has shown great maturity and softball savvy for a young player. His plate discipline and strike zone awareness are rare in young power hitter. Even though he missed a portion of the last 3 seasons, he's made up more then just the innings and AB by playing well in the two season." -- Ron Tuggnut – Director of Softball Analytics
