Scouting Report
Hitting
Adam Tagli features a dangerous combination of contact hitting and strike zone judgment. He adjusts well to pitching patterns and game situations, which allows him to be productive even when behind in the count. Tagli has been a positive influence both on the field and in the dugout, and has fantastic hand strength and associated bat speed; line-drive-oriented swing with a good loft; has power to all fields but has showed desire to hit into right-center field gap more frequently. Unafraid to take several pitches before he sees something he likes, Tagli has potential for lots of doubles. A strong run producer Adam Tagli will always remain as one of the most prolific hitters in the game
Base-Running & Defense
Adam Tagli natural speed is consistent with his peers and he makes the most of it in every way. With good reads and all-out hustle, Tagli is an alert and aggressive base runner who will take an extra base if the opposing defenses are sleeping. Defensively, he now is the standard by which all other outfielders are measured. He routinely makes plays no one else even attempts. Tagli covers plenty of ground with his speed and his plus-plus accurate arm unquestionably plays well and rarely makes any mental mistakes.
