Scouting Report

Hitting

Adam Miller is a prototypical five-tool player with tremendous plate discipline and bat speed with the ability to hit for high average. Miller is a positive influence both on the field and in the clubhouse who understands the importance of actually having a patient approach to the plate. He has tremendous bat speed with plenty of gap power potential in his frame. Though willing to take walks, he has an excellent knowledge of the strike zone. Miller is becoming a more complete player and will be able to bring a complete game to the upper rec league level in the near future.

Base-Running & Defense

An intelligent athlete, Adam Miller combines quick decisions with extreme aggressive base running that can change games on the bases. A speedster who could ignite the offense and rarely runs into outs when taking those extra bases, especially when the opponent isn’t vigilant. Adam Miller defensive skills are off the charts, both with the glove and his arm. A versatile infielder with great quickness and athleticism that allows him to cover vast amounts of infield, while corralling those hard grounders in the hole. Miller remains to be a premier infielder in the leagues and continues to make fewer errors then most of his peers, by position himself significant well from gap to gap.
