Scouting Report

Hitting

It’s easy to underestimate Noah Sullivan offensive impact because of his youth. Between his strength, energy and base running skills, he contributes in a variety of ways. Sullivan is an aggressive first-pitch hitter who will often swing at high pitches. However, he has become more adapting at working counts. Sullivan doesn’t usually bat at the top of the order, but he has enough power to be a useful run producer. His extra-base power will grown considerably as he becomes more mature and shortened his stroke to allow him to drive pitches into the gaps.

Base-Running & Defense

An aggressive base runner with surprising-above average speed, Noah Sullivan is not afraid to stretch a single into an extra base hit. He also does an excellent job of reading fielders, enabling him to score on miss played opportunities from the opponents. Defensively, some scouts wondered if Noah Sullivan has the ability to play infield in the upper leagues, but he has proven his skeptics wrong. He has good instinct and great if not soft hands with excellent range, especially to his left, and possesses the kind of arm that allows him to throw out a runner even after making a play deep in the hole.
