The Squad won game two against Touch Them All club for a final score of 17-7 in the Chula Vista Softball Tournament.

The Board of Directors decided to pull out of the Thursday Night Mundelein League play.

January 25th. 2018
Organization Announced that outfielder Adam Tagli was going on the disabled list for the first part of the season with a right shoulder surgery with an incident that took place during an off the field event. Tagli is expected to be ready to play by June or the start of July.

February 7th. 2018
The organization announced that the Wheeling Park District had decided to end the Sunday Night League.

The organization announced that negotiations have begun with infielder Matt Cross on a potential contract for the upcoming season.

An agreement is signed and accepted with the Board of Directors to enter league play on Friday Nights in Waukegan SportsPark.

At the WHAT? Softball organization annual media kickoff luncheon on Saturday, it was announced that the WHAT? Squad have acquired two' Competitive Balance Round B pick (15th overall) in the 2018 free agent draft.

The organization announced today that they have agreed to terms with free-agent infielder Matt Cross on a multi-year contract for the upcoming seasons. Financial terms of the deal were not announced.

An agreement is signed and accepted with the Board of Directors to switch Tuesday Nights from Waukegan to Mundelein in Lake County IL.

Organization announced that infielder Cal Haley and left fielder Drake Larriuz won the Player of the Month Awards for the Month of May. Haley batted .724 with 21 base hits. Lurriuz batted .750 with 27 base hits.

June 2nd. 2018
WHAT? Men’s Softball organization announced that outfielder Jonny Yarnall would not be participating in the remaining part of the 2018 season. After an altercation with a fellow teammate on Friday night, Yarnall decided to quit the team on Saturday morning.

Organization announced that third basemen Ryan Siembal and shortstop Matt Cross won the Player of the Month Awards for the Month of June. Siembal batted .639 with 46 base hits. Cross batted .638 with 30 base hits.

Third basemen Ryan Siembal became the 11th player in club history to collect a batting cycle.

Organization announced today that they have placed left fielder Drake Larriuz on the 12-day disabled list with hamstring strain on his left side. He suffered the injury while scoring a run in the sixth inning of yesterday's game.

The Monday Night WHAT? Squad defeated Fighting Aardvarks club to a score of 24 - 4. Second Basemen Victor Tuccy goes 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and a Run, including the game winning walk-off base hit.

Friday Night WHAT? Squad scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning in GM 1, and held off Son of Pitches club for a final score of 14 - 11. In game 2, the WHAT? Squad scored 9 runs during the last 3 innings of play for a final score of 14 - 10.

July 30th. 2018
Organization announced that outfielders Brad Callahan and Cooper Trodler won the Player of the Month Awards for the Month of July.

August 1st. 2018
The Monday Night WHAT? Squad clinch First Place on Monday Night South for their first Championship since 2014, seventh overall, by defeating Bombers Softball Squad, to a final Score of 13 - 12. Completing a three week Wednesday night make-up series, taking 5 out of 6 schedule games.

August 4th, 2018
WHAT? Men’s Softball Squad enters play into the annual Waukegan All-City Weekend Playoff Tournament. After defeating Henny Monstas club 20 - 9 the Squad qualify for Sunday single elimination play.

August 5th, 2018
WHAT? Men’s Softball enters Round 2 of the All City Tournament Play with a victory over Fighting Aardvarks to a score of 18 - 8, in game 4#. Highlighted: Shortstop Matt Cross goes 4 for 4 with 4 RBI’S and 2 Runs. / Round 3, of the All City Tournament was a victory over Green Town softball to a score of 15 - 3, in game 5#. Highlighted: Right Fielder Mike Gould goes 3 for 3 / 2 doubles with 4 RBI’S and 2 Runs. / Round 4 Semi Final, of the All City Tournament, the WHAT? Squad lost to Strike 3 club to a score of 22 - 7, in game 6#.

WHAT? Men’s Softball Squad enters play into the Mundelein Tuesday Night Playoff Tournament with a victory over New Hope Softball to a score of 28 - 0, in game 1#.

Organization announced that outfielder Kyle Risinger and infielder Matthew Cross won the Player of the Month Awards for the Month of August.

Round 2 of the Mundelein Night Summer Tuesday Playoffs was a lost to the Sultan of Swing Club by a score of 19 - 10 / Round 3 of the Mundelein Night Summer Tuesday Playoffs was a lost to the BBQ Productions Softball by a score of 12 - 2.

Organization announced that Ryan Siembal has become the third WHAT? Sftbll player ever to receive a Triple Crown. The only other players to reach this mark were Kevin Lowery in 2004 and Ralph Lozano in 2011 and 2016.

Squad erased a 10-run deficit and beat the Sponsor Us Club, 16-15. A eleven-run bottom of the seventh inning -- capped by Brad Callahan, game-tying, grand slam down the right-field line – Ryan Siembal followed with a solo bomb of himself over the right center field fence to complete the improbable comeback.
