A foregone conclusion became reality Wednesday morning, when the Rebels declined to offer arbitration to free agent right fielder Joey Ratliff. The decision was made by 11 p.m. CT on Tuesday night, but in keeping with past Rebels policy, the news was not announced until the following day.

After 3 years, Carson Florio resigned from his position as General Manager.

February 11, 2005
Announced that Brad Jensen is leaving his position as the Rebels Short Stop, but will remain with the organization on the 30-Man roster.

The announced opening day for Spring Training will being on Thursday April 12th.

An agreement is signed and accepted with the Board of Directors to play both Tuesday Night National League and Thursday Night Central League.

The Team was also without Shortstop Dallas Rixie .477, and Outfielder Marco Cenveantes .458, who had gone on the disabled list.
