The Squad voided the Minor-League contract of Outfielder Marco Cenveantes due to a preexisting medical condition.

February 8, 2006
Meeting in closed-door sessions, an agreement is being work out for the Rebels to participate on Thursday Night Continental League.

February 13, 2006
Announced that the Rebels declined to offer arbitration to free agent outfielder Mike Sroka. Making him an un-restricted free agent.

February 20, 2006
The announced opening day for Spring Training will be on Saturday April 8th.

Placed Catcher Jerry Vasquez on the 90-day disabled list for recurring hernia injury.

The Team decline to play in the Waukegan Spring Tune-Up Tournament on May 6th.

Team drafts Shortstop (Julian Melendez) with the 10th pick in the 1st round, outfielder (Manny Arrayo) with the 16th pick of the 2nd round, second basemen (Eric Vear) 14th round 13th pick, outfielder (Mike Wick) 19th round 2nd pick, and utility player (Andrew Stein) 10th pick in the 21st round.

Free agent Veteran utility outfielder Robert Scheve signs a two-year contract with the Rebels Men’s Softball Organization.

The Board of Directors decided to pull out of the Thursday Night Continental League and opt to play in Central League.

The Rebels Men’s Softball Organization announced the 2006 Regular-Season schedule would open on Tuesday May 16th with a Two-Game series against the 2005 runners-up Bally Muck Extreme softball club at Belvidere South Park.

After 30-Straight hours of negotiation Free agent Veteran shortstop Donny Sroka comes to terms with the Rebels Men’s Softball Organization, by signing a 15-day temporally contract.

The Rebels open the New Season with a 22 - 8 bashing against Bally Muck Extreme softball club, and then took the second game 16 - 14 final score. Pitcher Chris Minor belted 3 Homeruns and ended up with 9 runs batted in.

The Rebels Softball Organization announced the 15-day temporally contract that shortstop Donny Sroka sign will expire with no extension being offer. Ending the veteran’s career with the Rebels.

For the first time in team history the Rebels Men’s Softball team swept their archrivals Cardinal Health Softball Club to a 18 - 2 bashing in game one, and then took the second game 21 - 19 final score.

Rebels Men’s Softball Team clinch second place on Thursday Night Central League.

The Rebel Softball opens the playoffs with a first round lost to Peterson & Patch softball club by a score of 8-5.
The Rebels belted 29 base hits to defeat (4 seeded) X-Tream Softball Club by a score of 20-18. Ralph Lozano belted a 3-run Homer in the 6-inning. Pitcher Chris Minor collected his 19th victory of the season.

August 16, 2006
The Rebels lose in game 3 of the playoffs and was eliminated in the All City League Tournament. The Rebels played with only 9 starters against Advantage Softball club, who had just pick up two extra non-roster scrub players for the game. Advantage softball club management claim, they don’t care…..

Rebels Men’s Softball Club won their first two Fall League Softball Playoff’s games by a combined score of 17 – 7 against Comcast Softball and 21 – 6 against Dick's Carpet Softball.

Rebels Men’s Softball Club spilt their two games in the Fall League Playoff’s. Game One was Won by a combined score of 16 – 6 against Pink Panthers Softball Club and then drop game two against A.V.P. Softball Club in extra inning.

Rebels Men’s Softball Club lost their last game of the Fall League Playoffs against Booner's All-Star Club to a score of 19 - 9. The Rebels defense surrender 14 Unearned runs with 9 errors in their last two games of play.
