BREAKING NEWS – Lake County, During a press conference the WHAT? Organization announces that the squad key components will receive long term extensions to solidify the future of the Club.

A foregone conclusion became reality Wednesday morning, when the Organization declined to offer arbitration to free agent First Basemen Andrew Formica. The decision was made by 8p.m. C.T. on Tuesday night, but in keeping with past Club policy, the news was not announced until the following day. Uncertainty and his lack of communication upheld the dismissal as fair – the breakdown of trust and confidence constituted some other substantial reason justifying the decision.

BREAKING NEWS – Lake County, announce that Kevin Colburn would leave his position as the starting Third Basemen position due to job relocation, but will remain on the 40-Man Roster.

The WHAT? Men’s Softball Organization announced that the 2015 Regular-Season schedule would open up with 2 Squads participating in Waukegan, IL – SportsPark Complex. 1 upper and 1 lower Squads for both the Monday Night and Tuesday Night Leagues.

The Organization decided to play in the Waukegan Spring Tune-Up Tournament on May 2nd.

Shortstop Jeff Johnson release a statement on the Team Facebook page... ( Fellas, I've got some good news and some bad news...The bad news is that I'm not going to be living at home this summer and so I won't be able to play with you guys in the league games ...The good news is that I'd still be interested in any tournaments (if I can make it) if you guys ever needed a shortstop to boot a couple balls, throw a few away and maybe hit a home run that would count as a strike out. I loved the experience and want to thank everyone for letting me into the WHAT? Softball family! Go get that 3-peat this summer!! The Organization announce that infielder Jeff Johnson broke Team protocol for his pre-immature statement by not discussing his intentions with Team management prior to his announcement. His actions resulted in the irreparable rupture in team morale and soiled his relationship of trust.

WHAT? Men’s Softball Squad enters play on Thursday Nights in Libertyville for the first time in club history. Defeating Bill’s Pizza Pub squad to a score of 25 - 2.

May 2nd, 2015
WHAT? Softball Club finishes with a 2 and 2 record during the Waukegan Spring Tune-Up Tournament. Both wins came against, 26 - 11 score versus Fleet Service club and a 21 - 13 score versus W T P squad.

After arriving late for a ball game and not in the starting lineup, outfielder Jimmy Brando storm out of the dugout and left the ballpark. Later that evening the organization announces that Jimmy Brando had indeed quit and would will not be participating in the remaining part of the 2015 season with no negotiations being offer.

After 1 year layoff outfielder Luke Mueller makes his return to the squad playing in 1 doubleheader on Tuesday June 2nd. Thereafter ward the Organization announce that Luke Mueller had withdrawn from his agreement and decided to quit the team without any notice of any kind.

Organization announce outfielder Joe Yonke went on the disabled list for the remaining part of the season with a strain lower back an incident that took place off the field.

BREAKING NEWS – Lake County, Announce that first basemen Jake Economos has declined to participate in the 2015 season. Despite his bitter departure No Explanation was given. Though the Team does speculate that his troubles off the field have overwhelmed his commitment to his Squad and Teammates. "His lack of communication is a strong indicator of his maturity level." Coach said.

Game 2, was a victory over Got Ballz Squad to a score of 14 - 4, Highlighted: Thomas Wolfer reach base 4 times with 3 RBI’s.

Game 3, were by defeated by Bubba’s Club to a score of 8 - 22, Highlighted: Thomas Wolfer 2 base hits, Triple and 2 runs.

WHAT? Men’s Softball enters Round 2 of the All City Tournament Play with a victory over Fighting Aardvarks to a score of 13 - 6, in game 4#, Highlighted: Bradley Daniel 4 hit performance that included 4 RBI’s and a Run scored.

Round 3, of the All City Tournament was a victory over Strike 3 softball to a score of 23 - 20, in game 5#, Highlighted: Ralph Lozano pitching performance along with a 4 run scoring and a 2 run home run.

Round 4 Semi Final, of the All City Tournament was a victory over Bubba’s Club to a score of 24 - 23, in game 6#, Highlighted: Dylan Cartwright base clearing double in the bottom of the 7th inning. Dylan ended the game with 7 RBI’s and 3 runs.

Round 5 Championship Game, of the All City Tournament was a victory over TCB squad to a score of 16 - 15, in game 7#, Highlighted: Danny Morales 2 RBI double in the bottom of the 7th inning. Matt Boley walk off 2 RBI single clinch the Championship.

BREAKING NEWS – Lake County, during his press conference, Coach Vasquez had announce that outfielder Thomas Wolfer had decided to quit the Organization without any indication why. The Coach had also acknowledged that it had been Mr. Wolfer that had broken off all lines of communications.

WHAT? Men’s Softball squad enters game 2# of Libertyville Thursday Night Playoffs with a victory over Men with Wood to a score of 21 – 20 / in Game 3# of the Libertyville Playoffs, the squad was defeated by Emil’s squad to a score of 18 -11.

The WHAT? Men’s Softball Organization announced that veteran outfielder Russell Shoumake was being release from his team contract with no club or player option being tender. The move comes with no surprise to the softball world due to Shoumake over aggressive personality. Shoumake had walk off the field during game 4 in the Waukegan City League Playoffs due to outside commitments. In a Team statement that came right after the game, "With the privilege of being a member of the WHAT? Men's Softball Club there are expectations and standards to which we hold our ball players accountable, and he has failed to do so, ” Coach said in a statement late Sunday night.

Rookie outfielder Brad Callahan and Kyle Risinger both went 5 for 5, with Callahan belting a triple and double scoring 3 runs / Risinger scored 2 runs with 2 RBI’s.

WHAT? Men’s Softball squad enters game 1# of Libertyville Thursday Night Fall Playoffs with a victory over Men with Wood to a score of 36 - 8 / in Game 2# of the Libertyville Fall Playoffs, the squad was defeated by Emil’s squad to a score of 28 -27. * Second baseman Matt Hermsen committed 8 fielding errors along with his struggling plate appearance when he abandoned the winning runner at second base. (The game ended on a Kyle Risinger first career over the fence Home Run that was call for a batted out due to the home run allowance rule).

BREAKING NEWS – Lake County, it had been announces that infielder Matt Hermsen contract was placed on waivers. It had been leaked out for some time now that the organization has been aware of Matt Hermsen unusually behavior regarding using sensitive team personal information for his own benefit. The Coach had also acknowledged that the WHAT? Organization had indeed broken off all lines of communications with Mr. Hermsen with no intentions of reopening any dialog.

WHAT? Men’s softball squad enters play in the Chula Dome Softball Lower Level Tournament in the Wisconsin Dells on December 19th, / 21st, and 22nd.
