Statistically Speaking:

Throughout his softball career, Fitzgerald has done well in both Waukegan and Libertyville, hitting at a career .522 in Lake County. Those numbers were somewhat more skewed during his playing time in Mundelein, when he hit .368. In 53 games during 2017 season, his OPS was .405 against deep throwers and .595 when he faced GSL type pitchers.

Upside Potential:

An All-Star first baseman who hits in the middle of the lineup and can hit 30-plus extra base hits and drives in more than 75 runs annually.
