Statistically Speaking:

Wyatt Gratz is an impressive player ready to contribute now; eventually fits in three-hole with power/hit combo. Gold Glove in LC; if he moves to a 3-man crew, he has more than enough glove and arm to handle position. Bat is elite. Gratz projects to hit for 15 HRs with high average and plenty of extra base hits given current development and age. The sky is limit talent-wise, especially if Gratz maintains body and continues improvement in OF. OFP is .600 hitter, 15 HRs, 20 XB in OF.

Upside Potential:

Wrist strength and quickness is major asset. Generates additional power via leg shift. Short load, medium stance, and launch angle allow him to tap large portion of raw power in games.

They Said It:

"Risks are limited, although Wyatt Gratz swing can get long when he's trying to crush everything, dragging the barrel and exposing himself to low-pitches; when he maintains his approach, bat is premium." -- Steve Sharts – VP of Player Development
