Hitting
Pat Temaner is a stocky teenager who arrived in the summer of 2013, he’s one of the most promising young prospects in softball today. He’s already shown off his tools in Lake County, and while he looks like an All Star quality ball player right now, physically, his built and young age makes it quite possible he’ll be a corner outfielder when he’s finishes growing. And if his loopy power swing develops as expected, he’ll hit like one too. Pat Temaner already showing signs of Softball video-game level power at the plate, but his iffy contact skills and lack of patience at the plate, though, is equally clear indicators that he’s still a rather rough gem.
Base-Running & Defense
Pat Temaner has above-average speed. He uses his good speed well, running with his head up to take advantage of advancement opportunities without running into outs and will steel home if ignored. Defensively, Temaner is a solid softball catcher. As a utility player, Temaner have modestly to better range for his age, but he does turn virtually every ball he touches into outs. He is extraordinarily focused and disciplined, and almost all of his throws hit other infielders squarely in the chest.
