Scouting Report

Hitting

Robert Jablonski success at producing runs is limited by his environment. He could produce some astounding offensive totals in a potent lineup. Already physically mature, the softball people wonder how much more room he has to grow. Jablonski has respectable power and is especially adept at staying inside the ball and driving it into right center field. In addition, Jablonski extra-base power has weaken considerably over the last several seasons, he’s much more of a line-drive hitter than a home run hitter, and many of his hits come on soft liners through the infield or between out fielders.

Base-Running & Defense

Robert Jablonski is an average base runner that knows how to pick his spots to run when judging those potential extra base hits. As his intelligence helps him on the bases, it will also help him be a defender in the infield. A strong defensive first basemen with soft hands and quick feet with pinpoint accurate throws. Jablonski is extraordinarily focused and disciplined, and almost every thrown ball virtually turns into an out. And, of course, he does this as quietly and unobtrusively as possible.
