Hitting
Brad Graham is vulnerable to flat pitches that come up short, and that remains the best strategy to get him out. He often will get himself out by chasing eye-high deep pitches that he has difficulty laying off. He gets many of his base hits on those meatballs over the strike zone, and softball league pitchers try avoiding throwing them when their behind in the count. Graham has good plate coverage and displays consistent extra-base power to the left side. He also has shown more consistent patience at the plate as the season continues.
Base-Running & Defense
Brad Graham speed is a tick average for his age and ailing knees, but he’s no base runner. He his quick strides, opportunistic baserunner, will take an extra base on a fielding error. Graham can steel a run for you when need be, so that threat cannot be ignored. Defensively Graham has a steady glove, not flashy but will make the play as a catcher. He gets in front of home plate using his athleticism for those close plays. Solid fundamentals so otherwise Graham can play to fringe-average defensive utility.
